Cuadernos de Lingüística de El Colegio de México is an open-access electronic peer-reviewed journal, published twice yearly (January-June and July-December). Its aim is to disseminate current linguistic research about any language and from different theoretical approaches. We thus seek for the papers published to advance our understanding of natural languages, either from a theoretical or from a purely descriptive point of view. Our target audience are researchers, professors and students specialized in linguistics.
Anti-plagiarism
Authors are entirely responsible for the content of their manuscripts, and must guarantee that they are original and unpublished.
As an anti-plagiarism policy, Cuadernos de Lingüística de El Colegio de México exerts the right to revise, through the use of specialized anti-plagiarism software, all manuscripts submitted for publication, using the customary criteria to detect such practices. A basic guide about usual plagiarism practices can be found http://publicationethics.org/search/site/plagiarism.
In case of detecting plagiarism, the manuscript will be discarded for publication. The Editorial Board will revise the case and based on its seriousness will impose a sanction. Sanctions may vary from the temporary or permanent suspension of the author/s for future publication in our journal, to the emission of a bulletin where the home institution(s) of the author(s) and other academic journals are informed about the case.
